A piece of Baldwin County trash somehow decided it was done with the Gulf and went full international traveler, washing up on a beach in England after drifting thousands of miles across the Atlantic. The wayward trash bin, still clearly marked from Baldwin County, is suspected to have washed out to sea during Hurricane Sally back in 2020 — an eye-opening reminder of just how far ocean currents can carry our everyday items, and how what leaves our shores can impact the world. trash travels
A new 55+ community with more than 1,300 homes is headed to Foley, aimed at folks who want to stay active without signing up for yard work every weekend. The neighborhood will feature single-family homes paired with resort-style amenities like fitness spaces, pickleball courts, and plenty of spots to gather with neighbors. Get ready to soak up some amazing live music this summer at The Wharf with acts including everything from country and rock to classic favorites: Luke Bryan brings his crowd-pleasing anthems, Creed hits the stage with 90s rock vibes, Train and Barenaked Ladies promise sing-along favorites, and Dave Matthews Band brings that signature jam band energy — with even more artists like The Black Crowes, TOTO, and Goo Goo Dolls filling out this summer’s soundtrack here on the coast. get tickets now!
THE RESULTS ARE IN
The votes are in and the people have spoken! With 44% of the vote, a Gulf Coast Crew hat was the clear winner of last week’s poll to decide the first physical product created for The Crew Collection. The tote bag was a distant second while the custom art print and the jigsaw puzzle tied for third.
I’m already looking at hat suppliers and hope to have some mockups you can look at and vote on very soon. This process may take a few weeks before everything is finalized but you guys will be involved the whole way through. Next step — let’s choose a color!
